as (not) many of you know, i am (probably) sure, i'm a debater :D
and proud to be one, yes, but i'm not a very good one yet. haha.
anyway, today during CCA, we talked about a new topic. about stem cell research. and i decided to find out more about cloning.
i'm sure all of you know Dolly, the first sheep/animal to be cloned, ever. do you think it's wrong to clone people?
consider this from a christian's point of view.
God made each and every one of us special. would he like us to manipulate the gift of life and "create" people in his image?
then again, consider this from a scientist's point of view.
Once human cloning is legalised, there would be a limitless supply of organs or blood, as they could simply be reproduced. Then a lot of suffering in the world would cease as sick people would be able to get the transplants they needed quickly. would God want this to be the solution that ends the health problems in our world?
or would this be the spreading evil that makes us exploit His creation for a better future?
there are so many things in the world out there that can be discussed; world issues and events do relate to the christian community. how do we answer this? what is our take on this subject? so God gave you the "green-light" to agree with this?
aha. maybe not so blunt. but the point is, express your views if you want to by the tagboard haha. or tell me if you want to post a response up.
things go in circles
and God works in miracles
it would be a debacle
if it weren't for His cycle
(of everlasting love)
